A fair, transparent refund process for genuine cases
Every donation funds real work on the ground. Yet, we understand that errors happen. This Refund Policy explains when and how a donation made to Ummeed Angels Foundation can be refunded.

Important Note
Donations are voluntary contributions
Once received, donations are deployed for our mission-driven activities and are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be considered only for genuine errors as detailed below.
Eligible for Refund
- Accidental duplicate donations made within minutes of each other.
- Donations made due to a clear typographical error in amount (e.g., extra zero).
- Failed transactions where the amount was deducted but the donation did not register on our end.
- Unauthorized donations made without your consent, reported promptly with valid proof.
Not Eligible for Refund
- Change of mind or personal reasons after the donation is acknowledged.
- Requests submitted beyond 7 days from the date of donation.
- Donations already utilized for ongoing program activities or commitments made on the basis of the contribution.
- Cash, cheque, or offline contributions handed in person (refund only via cancellation of receipt, at our discretion).
Step-by-Step
How the refund process works

Submit Refund Request
Email us at info@ummeedangelsfoundation.com with your full name, donation date, amount, and transaction reference within 7 days of the donation.
Verification of Request
Our finance team verifies the transaction with the payment gateway and confirms the eligibility of the refund within 3–5 working days.
Processing the Refund
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method. Banking timelines may add a few additional working days.
Confirmation & Receipt Reversal
We send you a written confirmation. If a donation receipt or 80G acknowledgement was issued, it stands cancelled upon refund.

Share these details with us and our team will respond within 24–48 hours:
- Full name on the donation
- Email and phone number
- Date & amount donated
- Transaction reference ID
- Reason for refund
- Bank/UPI used (if needed)
Note: Refunds, where approved, are processed back to the original payment method only. If a tax exemption receipt (80G) has been issued, kindly share it back along with your request. Bank/payment gateway charges, if any, are non-refundable.
Ummeed Angels Foundation reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at its discretion. Any updates will be reflected on this page.
